LET'S PRAY
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching" Heb. 10:25, KJV
Church, the building, raises so many questions for so many. And because of those questions, that mainly stem from confusion or bad experiences, the enemy's goal to divide God's people was accomplished. However, God always has a plan even when it looks like the enemy has won.
There is always a remnant in every generation that will speak Christ's heart and strive to do it His way. This is the Gospel of Christ... not a gospel intended for specific culture or race. It is the Gospel to be preached to all without malice or prejudice:
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst [thirsty, desperate] come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Rev. 22:17, KJV emphasis mine.
With that said, our goal is not to just come together for the sake of coming together. We are coming together to gain a greater understanding of what Christ wants, to help our brothers and sisters in their walk with Christ, to allow prayer (seeking Christ) to be our foundation, and be a lover of God's word; no matter what it says. We agree with Christ. So the purpose of the meet-ups is to do as Christ has commanded. To come together in unity and encourage one another more fervently as His return draws ever-so nigh.
For now we will be coming together twice a month for the word and prayer. We have teamed up with Lekeisha Ford of The Narrow Way Blog.... Please join us every other week as we meditate on God's word and pray for breakthroughs in our lives and the lives of those we will affect for God's glory.
